Sumsuch - Shine feat. Will Brock

Since collaborating on ‘Simpatico’, the debut release on Colour and Pitch, US soul-man Will Brock and label boss Sumsuch’s transatlantic partnership has truly blossomed. As ‘Mega Jawns’, their album ‘Ten Letters From Home’ was released in 2014 on BBE Records, with a second album due for release in 2016. Written and recorded in just one night in West Philadelphia during summer 2014, Shine is a spiritual, afro-tinged Deep House track, featuring soaring vocals and life-affirming lyrics from Will Brock. Having created a truly unique remix for their debut single ‘Simpatico’, it seemed only right to ask aloof production maestro Q-Burns Abstract Message to do it again for ‘Shine’. Effortlessly defying genre tags as usual, his version is a tripped out, deeply touching and achingly beautiful piece of electronic music.
