After an insanely busy year, I've finally made it back into the studio with longtime friend and collaborator Matty Eeles. Our hilariously long-winded attempts to make an album continue, but in the meantime, enjoy! 'Colour and Pitch founder Sumsuch has had a busy year, with his ‘Mega Jawns’ project releasing their debut album on BBE Records last autumn. Finding some time to focus on solo material in 2015, he’s returned to the studio with long time friend and collaborator Matty Eeles, working (slowly) towards an album. ‘Find Home’ is a melodic, warm and languid slice of Deep House, with a typically stellar vocal performance from Matty Eeles. A ‘Voxtramental’ mix is also included, retaining an ethereal vocal refrain whilst bringing Sumsuch’s subtle musical touches into sharper focus.' Buy on Beatport iTunes Juno or Traxsource

I'm rather proud of this remix for Finest Wear, which appears on the 'Distant Memories' EP, released today exclusively on Beatport . The lovely people who wrote the label notes kindly describe it as: "a typically cinematic and musical rework, brimming with dizzying key changes and off-kilter percussion." Here's what some other clever people have to say about it: "Sumsuch mix rokks!" - Nick Moss (Groove Assassin) "The Sumsuch remix definitely takes it up a notch with the fatness, love the really full sound." - Andres Aguirre "Deep house with passion and intent. the sumsuch remix is where it's at for me personally" - Mike W. (Kolour Recordings) "Sumsuch Remix offers a different point of view on the original ‘’The Storm’’, soft percussions and sound effects, intoxicating rhythm and just before dawn session…" - DJ Nova (NovaPlanet, Greece) "Great vibe, nice one!!" - Joan Ribas (C...

Brand new single 'Simpatico' sees the light of day on July 22nd, exclusively on Beatport. Techno powerhouse and ‘reclusive perfectionist’, Myles Sergé and 'eclectic experimenter' Q Burns Abstract Message provide stellar remixes. “Simpatico” finds Sumsuch joined by Philadelphia-based soul man Will Brock whose vocals add a seductive human touch to the producer’s already emotive and atmospheric palette. Marked by its solid, dance floor rhythm and able vocal, the cut’s chirpy textures peal in and out marrying subtle chord progressions alongside a rising drumbeat. The first of two “Simpatico” remixes comes from US techno powerhouse and self-confessed ‘reclusive perfectionist’ Myles Sergé (6ONE6 | DEFREC, ESHU Records). His speedy but spacious take on the original can only be described as melancholic - a sound that will surely appeal to fans of dreamier, esoteric club music. Twinned with off-kilter percussion, this tender slice of left-field techno is, simply put, noth...
